Pierre-Leonard Rouzaud joins as Director of Strategic Projects

The appointment strengthens Jolt Capital’s team with a profile spanning finance, strategy and major industrial issues. Pierre-Léonard Rouzaud brings expertise in shareholder strategy, corporate finance, deal structuring and complex negotiations with both public and private-sector stakeholders.

His appointment adds complementary expertise in areas that are central to Jolt Capital’s development. Combining banking experience with senior government responsibilities, his career has seen him work on financing, transformation and growth transactions involving major industrial and technology groups.

Background

Before joining Jolt Capital, Pierre-Léonard Rouzaud served as Adviser on State Shareholdings and the Space Sector in the office of the French Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty, serving under Ministers Roland Lescure, Éric Lombard and Antoine Armand. He also covered energy and defence matters and worked on several strategic transactions involving major French companies.

Prior to this, he was Vice President, Leveraged Finance at BNP Paribas, where he worked on the origination, structuring and execution of LBO and acquisition financing for private equity firms and corporates.

Pierre-Léonard Rouzaud also held positions at the Agence des participations de l’État and the Direction générale du Trésor, after serving at France’s representation to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington.

He is a graduate of Mines Paris, HEC Paris and Sciences Po Paris, and an alumnus of ENA (Georges Clemenceau class). He also holds a Master 2 in International Tax Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.
