Jolt Capital partners with ABC Bourse

Jolt Capital and ABC Bourse, an independent financial media for retail investors, announce their partnership to produce deeptech indicators, calculated by proprietary AI JoltNinja for all listed companies covered on abcbourse.com.

The artificial intelligence platform Ninja, developed by Jolt Capital over the past 10 years, supports the firm’s investment partners at every stage of the lifecycle, from sourcing to exit, and throughout the entire growth journey of portfolio companies: competitive analysis, patent strategy, external growth opportunities, peer tracking, value chain mapping, connections with large corporations, etc. Numerous indicators are automatically and continuously calculated by the AI engine for each of the 5 million companies currently tracked by JoltNinja.

Among these indicators, Jolt Capital and ABC Bourse have selected three to estimate a company’s “deeptech power”: the Jolt DeepTech Score, the Jolt IP Score, and the Jolt Centrality Score:

-        The Jolt DeepTech Score measures how closely a company aligns with Jolt Capital’s investment thesis in breakthrough technologies (deeptech). Based on the systematic and documented tracking of Jolt’s investment team’s assessments regarding a given company, this score reflects the perceived level of deeptech content (technological innovation and industrial complexity) and its growth potential.

-        The Jolt IP Score is a patent ranking method that goes beyond simple counting by combining two complementary dimensions: monopoly power (geographical coverage, remaining protection duration, recency of underlying technologies) and intellectual property quality (citations received, strength of claims, technological relevance).

-        The Jolt Centrality Score measures, using graph theory, a company’s influence within its professional network by evaluating its connectivity and access to knowledge flows (position within the ecosystem, quality of connections, dynamism of interactions).

The numerical values (from 0 to 100) of these three indicators will now be displayed on each company profile published by ABC Bourse. They will provide retail investors with additional insights alongside traditional financial data and the in-depth analyses already offered by the media outlet.

These indicators will be provided by Jolt Capital to ABC Bourse for informational purposes only. They do not constitute investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell financial instruments, or a solicitation to invest. No guarantee is given as to their accuracy, completeness, or suitability for a particular situation, as the underlying data may contain gaps, time lags, or inaccuracies. Neither Jolt Capital nor ABC Bourse shall be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of these indicators.

“For the past ten years, we have been training JoltNinja to decode what truly defines a company’s technological strength, far beyond traditional financial indicators. Making these scores available to retail investors through ABC Bourse means democratizing an analytical framework that was previously reserved for private equity professionals. We are proud to make deeptech more accessible and understandable for everyone”, said Philippe Laval, Managing Partner and CTO of Jolt Capital.

Innovation is at the heart of the markets. With Jolt Capital, we are providing investors with a new lens—both technological and strategic—to complement traditional financial data,” added Rodolphe Vialles, Founder and CEO of ABC Bourse.
