A second Joltian hired in Korea
Based in Seoul, Jinah Hahm joins Jolt Capital as Value Creation Partner after nearly two decades at Samsung Electronics, where she held senior leadership roles across corporate development, strategic investments, and semiconductor memory business planning. Most recently, she served as Principal Manager and Head of Corporate Development for Samsung’s Memory Business Unit, leading M&A, venture investments, IP licensing, and CEO-level strategic initiatives, including engagements with U.S. government stakeholders on export control frameworks. Earlier in her career, she led CAPEX investment strategy and played a key role in the launch of the world’s first HBM mass production line.
Jinah will focus on portfolio value creation, supporting deeptech companies in scaling industrial execution, strengthening corporate partnerships, and accelerating global market expansion, particularly across semiconductors, AI infrastructure, and advanced computing technologies.
She is the second Joltian hired in Seoul, after Managing Director Warren Kim.
Jean Schmitt, Managing Partner at Jolt Capital, added: “Jinah brings an exceptional combination of strategic insight, operational excellence, and deep semiconductor industry expertise. Her experience at Samsung, particularly in memory and advanced technology strategy, will be invaluable in helping our portfolio companies accelerate their global scale-up journey. We are doubling down on our presence in Korea, with ambitious plans there, backed by strong relations with KVIC, one of the new LPs in our latest vintage.”
Jinah Hahm commented: “I am excited to join Jolt Capital at a pivotal moment for deeptech innovation. I look forward to working closely with visionary founders and industrial leaders to help scale technologies that will define the next generation of computing and infrastructure.”
