Marc Romano

Managing Partner & CIO Early Growth

Marc joined Jolt Capital in September 2026 as CIO of Jolt Capital Early Growth and Managing Partner. He brings more than 20 years of experience in private equity, asset management and investment.

Before joining Jolt Capital, Marc was Head of Mirova’s Impact Private Equity business, which he joined in 2021. Prior to Mirova, he held several senior leadership positions at Rothschild & Co, including Managing Director within Five Arrows and Co-CEO of Rothschild & Co Asset Management. Earlier in his career, he held executive roles across Schroders, Crédit Agricole Group and AXA, notably serving as CEO of Amundi’s Private Equity and Infrastructure business.

Marc began his career as a Professor of Applied Mathematics at Université Paris Dauphine. He is an alumnus of École Normale Supérieure, a qualified actuary, and holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics. He is also a member of the Investment Committee of the École Normale Supérieure Foundation.
