As Managing Partner and Managing Director of Jolt Capital’s North American presence, headquartered in Montreal, Canada, Eoghan’s involvement runs all key operational areas from fundraising to investing to asset management. More specifically, this touches on the origination, structuring, negotiation, syndication, due diligence, execution of investments, and indeed the implementation and management of value creation initiatives within portfolio companies during the asset management phase.

Prior to Jolt, Eoghan was a professional sportsperson (rugby) for over a decade, competing throughout Ireland, the UK, Italy & France. Other experience during this time includes working with Island Renewable Energy. More recently, Eoghan has been a Guest Lecturer on the HEC Paris MBA program, advised the business creation & investment team of EIT Manufacturing, and served as Vice Chairperson on the Supervisory Board of b-next (a capital markets compliance software company), where Eoghan spearheaded the successful sale process of the company to a larger player.

Eoghan graduated from HEC Paris with an MBA (specializing in Entrepreneurship & Finance), and also with Certificates in both Advanced Management and Mergers & Acquisitions. In addition, Eoghan also holds an MSc in Climate Change & Sustainability from Brunel University London, and both a BSc in Statistics and a Graduate Diploma in Business from University College Dublin.
